Located at the foot of the mountain within walking distance to the gondola, their culinary offerings include pecan crusted elk loin, crab, bacon wrapped stuffed prawns, pepita crusted ahi tuna, sizzling fajitas and chili rellenos. In business for 32 years, Harwigs is a family owned restaurant that delivers an elegant dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Menus change seasonally, with a focus on local agriculture and fresh ingredients. Order the Yampa Valley Lamb (or the lamb slider if you’re in the wine bar). Yum!
